I need a REALLY TUFF riding boot!?
I am trying to help a friend of mine find a new pair of boots. She is extremely hard on her riding boots. Shes out at the barn every day riding and doing rigorous chores. She rides intermittently throughout the day and does not have to option to have work boots to switch to for chores. So were trying to find a very tuff boot that she can have for a good length of time without destroying... Shes had multiple pairs of Ariat boots and they are just not cutting it for her. Do you know any brands or specific boots that she might want to consider. Thanks a lot!!
How do I become a south african game ranger?
Im in school majoring in biology right now. I'd like to take courses that could get me to where i want to be (african game ranger) but its kinda hard to find info on this being that i live in Pennsylvania. Why aren't my anti-malware programs working?
I have Windows 7 Home Premium, and I run Spybot, SUPERAntiSpyware, Avast!, MalwareBytes, and Windows Defender. I also use Secunia PSI and HouseCall on occasion. Avast! runs constantly, and I try to scan at least once a month. Just last night, I got a trojan (Rogue:Win32/Winwebsec, I later found out). I figure it must be from something I downloaded, but I have no idea what. My problem was that after I booted up in safe mode, I scanned everything I had. Avast came out clean, Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware found a whole load of tracking cookies, and Malwarebytes found three trojans and one PUP. I thought that would have solved the problem, but after booting up normally, Windows Security Center and Windows Defender found the aforementioned trojan which was actually causing the problem. So, I guess I'm wondering, why didn't my other programs find it first?
Good riding boots for beginners?
I am starting to show this year, and I need some riding boots. I am looking for a good brand, but not too expensive. I know Ariat is awesome, but very epensive. Any help please?
Are new tall boots supposed to hurt?
I just got my first pair of leather dress tall boots (ariat). The feet fit fine, but the ankle is a little big. However, the calves are unbearably tight. I could feel my pulse through my boot and couldn't feel my feet. This was my first time wearing them out of the box, and the store people said that they would stretch, and drop down in height (because it's a little tall on me). Should I get a bigger calf size or will they stretch more?
Best brand of tall boots?
Both Ariat and Mountain Horse are great. I have a pair of Ariats (I'm in love with them, but they're pretty new so I can't give a good review yet) and a good friend of mine has Mountain Horse ones and loves them. You'd probably be fine with either, but its safest to go to a tack store or big tack sale and try them on instead of buying online if you think they might be hard to fit.
How do I care for my Boots?

I don't like my new job - it's been 3 weeks.. now what?
I have a college degree in management and 3 years of HR experience. That's my field. Now I'm a receptionist. I answer phones all day at a local company. I hate it. It's so boring and so below my experience level. They said they want to "add" managerial type stuff to my job but I can't see that working since I'm stuck on phones. Anyway I'm obligated to spend a year there or I will owe back a placement fee to the agency that got me the job. I miss working in HR and also miss making good money. I work with mostly good people at my new job but that's not everything. Should I stay for a year and bolt?
How to get my tallboots to drop? Can I soak them in water?
No do not do not do not soak in water the truth is that you may have bought then too tall and they have dropped it may not feel like it to you though always ask your instructor or go get refitted for boots at a tack shop i can say that i did not get fitted but tried my friends boots on and was able to order myslef a pair and they fit perfectly so. if you soak them in water it could ruin them because the leather absorbs the water and wont release it and it will mold so i would not recommend this unless you wanna dish out like another 200-300 dollars for a new pair the best thing to do is clean with saddle soap and polish with black shoe polish and let them drop naturally dont do anything that could damage the boots if that does not help you may wanna think about going to a tack shop and have them fit you again like i would suggest like dover saddlery if you live near one but ask your instuctor to on what they think is best for you to do with your boots

Where can i find a pair of discontinued Ariats?
Just search "Ariat Field Boots" on eBay, and search for listings posted since 2009. You'll probably come up with a lot of results, but at least it will narrow it down a bit.
What do you think about these boots for riding boots?
sooooooooo I honestly have no idea and I don't want to get in the middle of this but those pictures don't really prove anything. the horses you listed are mostly too old to be racing competitively and none of their descriptions fit the horses in your pictures. and the pictures just prove that you and your sister can canter in a field somewhere in boots that no one can safely ride in, saddles and other tack that no one would use for horses being trained to race, with your stirrups too long to properly ride a racehorse, and without chaps or breeches. yeah.

Neither, your body flucuates weight like when you work out and sweated all the water or just ate and gain a pound from that steak you ate or losing that pound when you crappy it out. It can vary a lot base on your current condition.
How do I convince my parents to let me skip school for two days?
In history class we're supposed to go on a field trip to the stupid Holocaust Museum and then have Holocaust survivor speakers come in and talk. I've done my own research and I don't want anything to do with it. I believe the Holocaust is a total exaggeration and is nothing more than a big billion dollar industry set up by the Jews, with all its movies and museums, etc...I wont waste my time with something I don't believe in. Is it more important to have good riding pants or boots?
I need to get a pair of pants/boots for saddle seat and can only afford one or the other right now. It's just for lessons so what's more important? I wear jeans to ride right now and I have a pair of ariat winter riding boots that I use but they're very thick and heavy.
