How do I care for my Boots?

I Have Just got a bran new pair of Ariat showbaby-fatbaby tan/antique western boots and i need to know what kind of protectant i need to use, like waterproofing and such. thanks for helping!

I don't like my new job - it's been 3 weeks.. now what?

I have a college degree in management and 3 years of HR experience. That's my field. Now I'm a receptionist. I answer phones all day at a local company. I hate it. It's so boring and so below my experience level. They said they want to "add" managerial type stuff to my job but I can't see that working since I'm stuck on phones. Anyway I'm obligated to spend a year there or I will owe back a placement fee to the agency that got me the job. I miss working in HR and also miss making good money. I work with mostly good people at my new job but that's not everything. Should I stay for a year and bolt?

How to get my tallboots to drop? Can I soak them in water?

No do not do not do not soak in water the truth is that you may have bought then too tall and they have dropped it may not feel like it to you though always ask your instructor or go get refitted for boots at a tack shop i can say that i did not get fitted but tried my friends boots on and was able to order myslef a pair and they fit perfectly so. if you soak them in water it could ruin them because the leather absorbs the water and wont release it and it will mold so i would not recommend this unless you wanna dish out like another 200-300 dollars for a new pair the best thing to do is clean with saddle soap and polish with black shoe polish and let them drop naturally dont do anything that could damage the boots if that does not help you may wanna think about going to a tack shop and have them fit you again like i would suggest like dover saddlery if you live near one but ask your instuctor to on what they think is best for you to do with your boots

Just search "Ariat Field Boots" on eBay, and search for listings posted since 2009. You'll probably come up with a lot of results, but at least it will narrow it down a bit.

What do you think about these boots for riding boots?

sooooooooo I honestly have no idea and I don't want to get in the middle of this but those pictures don't really prove anything. the horses you listed are mostly too old to be racing competitively and none of their descriptions fit the horses in your pictures. and the pictures just prove that you and your sister can canter in a field somewhere in boots that no one can safely ride in, saddles and other tack that no one would use for horses being trained to race, with your stirrups too long to properly ride a racehorse, and without chaps or breeches. yeah.
